Radix: Trolls

Trolls are a species of flightless pterosaurs. As peculiar as it seems, these anthrosaurs live in water and are great swimmers. The males have larger head fins than the females. Trolls are naturally good craftsmen and architects and live in or near the bridges and dams that they build.

The troll's social life is based on building and maintaining physical structures, and they get hostile with those who don't respect these structures. This is reflected in the Troll languages, with constant references to building, design and structure. To other species, the troll voice usually sounds like moderately pitched croaking, clicking and hooting sounds.
