Monopolis: Elves
Keeping business going between the diverse cultures of Monopolis and other worlds requires the special abilities of Elf translators. Almost all Elves are employed as interpreters, and since there are not many other jobs for them, the population of Elves on Monopolis is just large enough to keep those positions staffed. In addition to their natural ability, Elves receive special training in languages from early childhood.
