Bestiary: Imps

In Squawk pterosaurs are divided into two groups based on body plan(see also Wyverns.)"Imps" are small, short-necked and long-tailed. The long tail is oftendecorated with a small barb at the end. Imps are furry except for their fleshy wings and lipless toothy snouts. Although most Imps are harmlessor even helpful in controlling pests, they have developed a bad reputationbecause some species are scavengers and pests - especially to fishermen andfarmers who may blame them for lost catches or stolen eggs and chicks.
